Recruitment Policy

Naz Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. reaffirms its commitment to opposing any form of unfair discrimination or bias in employment, and upholds a comprehensive policy of equal opportunity.

The aim of this policy is to ensure that the recruitment, selection, training, and promotion of our seafarers are based solely on the criteria of merit, ability, and availability.

No job applicant or employee will receive less favorable treatment on the grounds of gender, race, color, religion, political opinion, national origin, social background, or any other personal characteristic.

The company shall not use any means, mechanisms, or lists intended to prevent or deter seafarers from gaining employment.

No fees or charges related to recruitment or employment will be borne directly or indirectly by the seafarers, ensuring compliance with the MLC 2006 (Maritime Labour Convention).

The privacy and confidentiality of seafarers’ personal data will be protected during the recruitment process and after placement. This includes the collection, storage, processing, and sharing of data with third parties in line with applicable data protection laws.

The company shall ensure that all rights of seafarers are protected, and that they enter into valid contracts of employment and sign Articles of Agreement as per maritime regulations.

HSSE Policy

We are dedicated to enhancing health, safety, and environmental standards at sea by recruiting and placing appropriately trained seafarers aboard ships and offshore vessels for our clients. We also ensure that our seafarers are well-versed with international security regulations relevant to the vessels they are assigned to, in accordance with applicable standards. In pursuit of this policy, we shall ensure that all seafarers are familiarized with:

  • The Safety Management System (SMS) of our clients, in compliance with the ISM Code.
  • Pollution prevention procedures, adhering to the latest MARPOL regulations.
  • International maritime security protocols, in accordance with the ISPS Code.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines, including TMSA (Tanker Management and Self-Assessment) for tanker management.
  • The importance of mental health and well-being as part of their overall safety responsibilities.
  • Any additional documentation related to health, safety, security, and environmental standards as required by our clients.
