Who we are

Welcome to Naz Maritime, where tradition meets expertise in the maritime industry. As a family-owned business, we are committed to integrity and loyalty. For over three decades, the ocean has been our home, shaping our identity and skills. Our deep-rooted knowledge of maritime operations makes us the preferred partner for those seeking competence and reliability.

We are an ISO 9001:2015 registered and MLC 2006 certified company, holding license No. RPSL-MUM-130, issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, India.

Founded by the late Capt. V. Nazareth, who believed “No dream is insurmountable,” Naz Maritime Services has been sailing far and wide since 1988. The passion ignited decades ago remains vibrant as we continue to lead in the recruitment and management of maritime personnel, maintaining high standards and diverse strategies for sustainable and profitable operations.

Capt. Connel Nazareth has led Naz Maritime since 2008, transforming the business through his dynamic leadership. Beginning his career at 17 as a Deck Cadet, working on Product and Chemical Tankers, Capt. Connel rose through the ranks to Master during his 14 years with Maersk Tankers. Educated at South Tyneside, UK, he further specialized in Marine Incident Investigation, International Safety Management Code, Flag & Port State Control, and Insurance Damage Surveys for Hull Surveyors at the International Institute of Marine Surveying.
